The podiatrist said that 75 percent of people suffer from foot problems at some times in life. The experts also revealed that all types of shoes have their dangers.

Here are the dangers of each type of shoes according to Dave Wain, a podiatrist from Carnation foot care, quoted by Sun Health.

Flat Shoes

Hazard: Due to the lack of cushioning in the foot, flat shoes tend to increase the bends in your feet, and pain when having to wear high heel shoes. In fact, flat shoes can cause cracked heels, and hip problems.

Solution: Do variations in the wearing of high heel shoes to flats. Use emollient cream when chapped symptoms appear on the heel. Use cushioned-shoes so that the feet become more comfortable.

Pump Shoes

Hazard: The Pump shoes create pressure on the skin of the toes which can injure the skin.

Solution: Use the foot pads or lightweight insoles so that can distribute pressure on feet. In addition, always use a pumice stone to rub the thick skin on the feet. Do not forget to always use anti-fungal powder or anti-bacterial to prevent infection.

Sneakers

Hazard: The instability caused by shoes that are too flexible. Canvas does not protect the feet properly and causing a lack of support on the heel.

Solution: Restrict and do not wear them for exercising. Choose the soles that do not twist and have little heels.

Wedges

Hazard: Wedges have a thick and rigid character, so that limit the feet motion and can affect balance.

Solution: Choose the ankle strap wedges to create balance.

Boots

Hazard: The air circulation does not work properly around the feet thus creating a humid area and be the perfect place for fungus to grow.

Solution: Wear antimicrobial socks.

Platform and Stiletto Shoes

Hazard: These shoes will create pressure on the calf muscle resulting in lost elasticity. In addition, this type of shoe can also create the appearance of bunions, it is a bump on bone of thumb.

Solution: Do variations in the use of shoes, from the lowest to the highest heels to exercise the calf muscles.

Ballet Shoes

Hazard: This type of shoes is flat on the ground so there is no pressure on it. It seems no exhaust but the reality is the toes will often scratch the ground for keeping the shoes on place.
